Jean McNeil wanted to show case her work and her approach to her art for an upcoming exhibition.
How we achieved it:
This was a very personal project for the artist as we were capturing her life’s work and methods. We spent a lot of time with Jean before any filming took place to ensure we fully understood what she wanted from the project, her approach to her art work and how her work has been received. Once this preparation had taken place we interviewed Jean about her work and spent a few days with her filming her method and her workplace. We adopted a slow pace and a respectful tone to the film to portray the detail and professionalism she has for her work and her methods.
