This course is designed for actors at any point in their career who are seeking a deeper exploration of acting specifically for the screen. Whether you’re just starting out or already established, if you’re eager to delve into the intricacies of on-camera performance, this workshop is for you. Our goal is to foster a supportive and relaxed atmosphere, all while maintaining a professional and focused approach to the craft.
You will get the £19 fee back when you sign up for our weekly or intensive course.
What will I learn on this taster?
During this workshop, participants will gain a preview of the exercises typically featured in our weekly program and the Intensive Day Course. You’ll have the chance to engage in on-camera scene work and delve into the fundamental dynamics of working on set.
In this 2-hour taster session, we will dive into a pre-selected scene from a feature film or television show sent out prior to the session, examining the creative choices involved and the technical aspects of acting in front of the camera. Additionally, we will prepare for the shoot with voice and movement exercises designed to help you feel relaxed, focused, and grounded in the scene.
There will be an opportunity to discuss your personal experiences, fears, and goals related to screen acting. Our course leaders will also share valuable industry insights, advice, and details about the upcoming weekly course programme.
