Take the Stage approached us to produce a full suite of social media content from their two-day theatre event, with the goal of generating over 50 short-form videos for year-round use across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. The deliverables included everything from energetic show trailers and performer testimonials to interviews, boomerangs, and challenge-style content—crafted specifically for a younger, mobile-first audience.
With such a high volume of content needed in a limited timeframe, pre-production was key. We worked closely with the Take the Stage team to develop a comprehensive content plan and shooting schedule that aligned with rehearsals and stage time. This allowed us to maximise efficiency while capturing a diverse range of footage across both event days.
Two roaming camera operators were deployed, each equipped to capture high-quality video and audio while moving freely throughout the venue. This flexible approach helped us engage with performers and crew in real time, creating a relaxed atmosphere that encouraged authentic on-camera moments.
All videos were designed with mobile-first viewing in mind, prioritising the vertical 9:16 format standard on TikTok and Instagram Reels. Where needed, we adapted select content for both 9:16 and 16:9 formats to ensure versatility across platforms. In post-production, we unified the series through vibrant music, branded motion graphics, and consistent visual styling that reflected the energy and identity of the Take the Stage brand.
The result was a dynamic, content-rich campaign tailored for ongoing social media engagement and future event promotion.
