KitKat set out to create a bold, memorable advert that reimagined the idea of taking a break — with a twist. The goal was to capture the unmistakable click-snap of the iconic chocolate bar while connecting with a younger audience through a fast-paced, engaging format.
To bring this vision to life, Aura Films developed a comedy-driven narrative designed to grab attention instantly and leave a lasting impression. Humour was at the heart of the concept, chosen for its strong resonance with KitKat’s target demographic and its ability to create shareable, memorable content.
Aura Films handled the entire production process — from initial concept development and scripting through to filming and post-production. Casting played a critical role in delivering the comedic tone, and we conducted a detailed audition and rehearsal process to ensure the right chemistry and timing were captured on screen.
Storyboarding was meticulously planned to integrate key brand elements — particularly the signature snap of the bar — ensuring that KitKat’s identity was seamlessly embedded into the visual storytelling. The final result is a playful, high-energy advert that refreshes the brand’s message for a new generation.
