Found in Translation Theatre commissioned a promotional trailer for Bring Back Chainmail, a family-friendly stage production designed to create an inclusive and welcoming experience for neurodivergent young audiences. The video needed to serve a dual purpose: to excite and attract general audiences, and to help secure bookings from new theatre venues by explaining the unique vision and background of the production.

Aura Films delivered two distinct versions of the trailer. The first was a short, high-energy cut tailored for social media and general audiences. We approached it with the rhythm and visual style of a cinematic trailer, capturing staged scenes as though they were from a TV drama—using multiple angles and dynamic editing to make it visually engaging and accessible to younger viewers.

The second version was longer and more informative, aimed at theatre programmers and venue decision-makers. This cut included direct-to-camera interviews with the cast, writer, and director, offering insight into the creative process and the show’s inclusive mission. This version provided context around the show’s development, its appeal to neurodivergent audiences, and its success to date.

Both trailers featured upbeat, medieval-inspired music to reflect the show’s tone and setting, along with motion graphics to highlight glowing review quotes. The final result was a pair of polished, versatile promos that helped Bring Back Chainmail connect with new audiences and find new stages to call home.
