The Ordinary Made Extraordinary

Anne Schwegmann-Fielding wanted a film to introduce her work, artistic process, and personal journey as a mosaic artist. Designed for use on her website and as a promotional tool, the film needed to provide an engaging overview of her practice while showcasing the breadth and beauty of her public art across the UK.

Aura Films spent time with Anne in her studio, conducting a relaxed, conversational interview to explore her path into the art world, the inspirations behind her work, and her approach to creating large-scale mosaics. With a wealth of interview content, we carefully shaped the narrative during the edit to create a personal, insightful, and well-rounded portrait of Anne as an artist.

To visually illustrate her process, we filmed her on-site working on a public mosaic installation, capturing her techniques in action. We also travelled to multiple locations across the UK to document her completed public artworks, highlighting the scale, detail, and impact of her projects.

The final film is a comprehensive and intimate documentary that not only showcases Anne’s incredible mosaic art but also tells a compelling story of her evolution as an artist and her ongoing creative journey.
